This notice explains how Chauffeur & Close Protection Services Ltd ("we", "us") uses personal information when you ask for a quote, book a journey or close protection, contact us or use this website.
Who we are
Chauffeur & Close Protection Services Ltd trades as Chauffeur & Close Protection. It is a company registered in England and Wales, company number 11687758, registered office 61 Orchard Grove, Harrow, England, HA3 9QR, and it is the controller of your information. What we collect
- What you send through the quote form: your name, phone number, email address, the service, pickup and destination, date and time, number of passengers and luggage, flight number and your message.
- What you send by phone, WhatsApp or email when you ask for a quote or book.
- For a booking: the pickup and drop-off addresses, timings and the names of the passengers we collect.
Why we use it, and the legal basis
- To reply to you, give you a quote and carry out the journey or the assignment you book: steps you asked for before a contract, and the contract itself (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
- To keep the records that tax and company law require: legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c)).
- To keep this website secure and working: our legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)).
We don't use your details for marketing, we don't sell them, and we never name or show our clients publicly.
Who helps us
These providers handle information for us, only on our instructions:
- Cloudflare, which hosts this website and processes form submissions.
- Resend, which delivers the form to our email inbox.
- Afaceri Diaspora Ltd, which built and maintains this website and keeps a copy of form messages so none are lost.
- WhatsApp (Meta) and our email provider, when you contact us that way.
- Google, only if you choose to load the map.
Some of these providers may process information outside the UK. Where they do, they use safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't lead to a booking are deleted within 12 months. Records of bookings and payments are kept for six years, as tax law requires.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it or ask us to restrict it. Email chauffeurservice.cp@yahoo.com. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
This website has no advertising and no visit statistics. The Google map loads only if you allow it; when it does, Google may set cookies and receive your IP address. See the cookie notice.
